ABOUT MOVEMENT THERAPY
Move to learn is a unique MOVEMENT THERAPY PROGRAM to assist the further development of the child with challenging activities to connect the different regions of the brain and to build new neuropathways through playful activities involving:
- basis of gross motor skills and developmental movements (crawling, walking, rolling…)
- special gymnastics elements for crossing the midline of the body
- rhythmic movement with rhythmic speech activities
- fine motor skills: for manual dexterity, oral dexterity (language) and eye muscle’s control
- lateral dominancy (left or right)
- pre-frontal exercises for maturation of learning and ability of multitasking
According to scientific literature, 70% of children with weak concentration span, speech-language development problems, learning disabilities ,such as reading/ writing/ counting disorder have difficulty or delayed development in certain areas of motor development.
Who is the program for:
- immature nervous system
- weak motor skill development
- delayed speech development
- late selection of lateral dominance (left or right?)
- mild intellectual disability
- dyslexia, discalculia, formal dysgraphia
- special cases of ADHD
Age groups:
- Children from early childhood development (4 years old)
- Pre-schoolers (5-6 years old)
- Right through school age (until 16 years old)

- assist your child’s learning through fun activities
- motivate your child and improve confidence
- spend quality time together
The 3 hour workshop consists of different modules involving fun activities using hand equipment, hand-eye coordination games, think-and-do challenges, and fine motor coordination exercises.
